Etsy - Finds

I love Etsy!  I can and do spend hours and hours on their site looking for items and my home is decorated with more than a few finds.  The amount of talented craftspeople is simply amazing!

I was blown away by these absolutely gorgeous recycled glass chimes from  Metamorphosi.  Each piece of glass has been recycled with a detailed description of what the item was before.  Many even have the detailed history of where they were found prior to being turned into these beautiful chimes.

Dedicated to the use of recycled material, Metamorphosi also promotes the idea of creating art using recycled materials  As well, they are actively doing projects with schools and and public/private organizations.

Ilaria Sadun humbles me with her body of work and the various ways she gives back to the community at large.

All these items are hand crafted at the studio located in Calcata, Italy. Please check their website as they offer so many wonderful objects.

Outdoor Sculpture - For Birds and other Living Things

Joe Papendick creates functional art.

Not only are his pieces beautiful, they are helping to feed the little flying creatures that may inhabit your area.

All Joe's creations are hand crafted using selected materials including, copper, steel and in some cases bronze and brass.

Joe's work was featured on HDTV.  (I want that!)  The latest offering is the Build Series -crafted out of pieces that are cut off other designs.  Brilliant!

This collection is meant to be placed in the soil with a height of seven feet prior to planting.  Once placed in your garden or yard, the end result will be about six and one half feet. Of course adjustments can be made.

Just gorgeous is the patina on this piece!  The copper looks amazing!

Different climates will produce different reactions in the metal ensuring your sculpture is always unique :)
